That’s All Folks
Thank you to everyone who has read and commented on this blog. We think it’s time to end it. Thomas is ours and although the journey continues, we feel that it’s time to depart from the blogging world (at least as writers). We’ll be staying in touch with our new friends so look for our comments. And if you know us personally then you’ll hear the stories first hand.
Take care and thank you!

NO!!! Your blog will be sorely missed!!!!
Thank you both for sharing your hearts, feelings & lives with your family & friends. I am sure it has been quite an “eye opener” for most & it certainly has been a real pleasure getting to know my new nephew through the eyes of MY baby sister.
Take care of yourselves & each other. Love & blessings forever, Jeanne
PS Don’t forget, we are available to “nephew sit” anytime you need.

You’ve openly shared your love and experiences with your son. As readers, that means we got to vicariously fall in love with this little boy too. Thank you for sharing, but especially to Thomas, for being the star of the blog. Sounds like now is the time to just be the star of the family. Just as it should be, just like every other kid in every other family.

Thanks so much to both of you and to Thomas for sharing your story this way. My partner and I are planning to adopt in the future, and think a lot about adopting older children from backgrounds similar to Thomas’s. Your story has been a true inspiration and a moving window into one very particular experience–rather than the usual generalities. And, as another commenter said, reading the posts was a special part of our week. So, thanks to all three of you, and best wishes for the future!
